I saw a great bumper sticker today that says, "If you're not outraged, you're not paying attention." Hell, i'm outraged and i'm not even really paying attention. i asked my mother recently how current times compare with the cuban missile crisis, vietnam, etc. she said she'd take those days over these in a heatbeat. so is this just the balance that we owe for "having everything so good" like phones that obligate everybody to be available 24/7? am i alone and/or crazy in wishing that we didn't "have it so good?"
